We specially designed this hanging bed for the ultimate relaxation and durability. Using expert craftsmanship, this luxury queen-sized bed was sanded by hand for an incredibly smooth finish. It comes with plump cushions and pillows, making it an exceptionally comfortable outdoor seating experience. This modern porch swinging bed is made from heavy-duty, Grade A Teak wood that has been legally sourced. We use teak wood because of its natural water-repellant, thanks to the unique oil found inside of it, which makes this porch swing an extraordinary piece of outdoor furniture that can easily weather the elements. It will withstand all forms of precipitation, including snow and rain.While prepping for an abundance of relaxing nights on the porch, you must make sure the swing bed is connected to a sturdy overhead point for extra hanging stability. WALL CLEARANCE: When installing your swing bed, it is ideal to allow a clearance of 1.5-feet or more in front and back of bed swing and 1-foot on each side.
HANGING MATERIAL: The standard size rope that we use is 1-inch in diameter Manila rope. Whereas most people provide only ¾-inch rope, we think that the 1-inch Manila rope is much more attractive and proportional to the swing, and not to mention a much higher load limit.
COMFORTABLE SEAT: The Montana Porch Swing Bed has a width 79.5-in, Length of 48-in, and a depth of 6-in. It also comes with of comes with (6) rectangular pillows, (2) cylindrical pillows, and (4) square pillows to give the ultimate kick back relaxation after a long day’s work.

- INSTALLATION:
- STEP 1: Figure out where you want to hang your swing and locate the ceiling joists (studs) that line up closest to the rope hole dimensions of your swing. Most ceiling joists will not line up perfectly with the swing hole points; this is normal. In other words, when the holes on the swing are spaced at 84 inches apart, the closest joists will likely be spaced at 80” or 96” apart. You can either choose to have your ropes angle out, or very slightly in (neither will affect the functionality of the swing). 80” is much closer to 84”, so your rope angle won’t be noticeable at all.
- STEP 2: Pre-drill a hole in the center of the joist (if you have a ceiling or cannot access the joists, please contact a licensed contractor or handyman to install your hooks)
- STEP 3: Install your 2-point lag screw eyes to the ceiling.
- STEP 4: Loop the rope ends through the lag screw.
- STEP 5: Place the frame of the bed on a 5-gallon bucket to help factor in the ideal height you would like the bed to hang from. Then attached the S hooks to the bed-base lag screw eye, you will then tie the rope directly to the swing hooks. Put as much weight on each corner as possible to tighten the rope knot.
- STEP 6: Place all provided cushions and pillows on the base, sit back, and relax!
